Actually sometimes the BrailleNote will unzip a file if you rename the
extention to BKS and try opening it with the book reader as a bookshare
book. it sometimes works with text files and other things but not always.

Ethan,
The BrailleNote, regardless of KeySoft version, has never supported the
unzipping of any type of archive. You will have to somehow unzip the file
on your computer and then use ActiveSync to transfer the file to your BN.
You could also put the unzipped file on a CompactFlash card, SD card, or
thumb drive and transfer it that way.
Tyler
P.S. I also use a BrailleNote BT mPower running KeySoft version 7.2 build
47.

Subject: [Users] Unzipping File on BrailleNote
Hello List,
I downloaded the txt file in the archives for the month of July.
Does anyone know how I can read these messages on the
BrailleNote? I hit enter on the file name and look in it and it
looks like a zipped file wich the extension is txt.
Any help would be great!
Thanks!
