Hi Cory:
Usually in most cities, you will find a nonprofit agency like Child and
Family Services or Catholic Charities which provides counseling on a sliding
scale basis depending upon your ability to pay. If you cannot find one of
these organizations in your area, call the local health department or ask
the directory assistance operator to check listings for a crisis center or
helpline in your area. There are online therapists and therapists who work
over the phone. If you have health insurance or Medicaid, the services of a
counselor may be covered to a limited extent. 
You might have to search around for a while to find a counselor you are
comfortable with--someone who won't do head trips on you and blame all of
your problems on the vision thing. 

Hey, I hope you feel better soon. I went through all of this with my partner
a number of years ago, and I know what a hassle it is, especially when you
are not feeling great.

Hi all,
Without getting in to specifics, I need to seek the help of a therapist, and

am wondering if there are any free, reputable online therapists. I do see a 
therapist during the school year, however, she can not provide help to me 
during the Summer months, and I am out-of-town currently taking part in 
independence training.
Any help would be appreciated.
