[Users] Computer Dead and I Don't Know Why

Hello listers.

At 7:00 or so yesterday morning, my computer totally stopped working.  I
was wondering if it had something to do with daylight savings time and
xp not starting until it gets a password or something.  Also, I have had
this system for 6 years and it may have finally given up the ghost.  I
have absolutely no idea as of yet as to what the screen says when it
attempts to boot up, so unfortunately, I can't give any more details
than these.  All I know is that it isn't working and was wondering if
any of you had explanations.  When this used to happen, I would go into
the volume control and unmute the wav check box and that worked.  No
longer.
