[Users] Protesting This Site Due to Banning Military Members

What do you do for the military? I am not into attacking anyone, 
especially the people that keep my country free.  I am part of 
the Civil Air Patrol, which is, because of my blindness, as close 
to the Air Force as I can get.  It has given me many 
opportunities, though, and my best friend's father returned from 
Iraq last year, so I am no stranger to the military and feel that 
people that attack our service- men and -women should take a turn 
serving.  As far as Iyana's comment about soldiers being mindless 
killing machines: what about military chaplains? What about the 
people that are in the military to rid the world of evil? "But 
who are you to say what is evil," I can hear you saying.  I think 
that all humans have a basic understanding of good and evil; it 
is evil to kill 3,000 civilians in an unprovoked attack; it is 
evil to brainwash children into putting on bombs and blowing up 
civilians; it is evil to kill people just because they do not 
believe the same things you do.  "But you just said that killing 
'enemies' is good, but they are only enemies because they do not 
believe the same things we do." Not quite.  When someone lives a 
life according to the rules of evil instead of those of good, I 
consider them an enemy.  Just as I do not think that killers 
should be jailed for a few years and then given another chance, I 
do not believe that the murderers and their associates over in 
the Middle East and elsewhere in the world should be given a slap 
on the wrist, a Bible, and a free pass.  Go ahead and attack me 
all you want, I actually find it rather amusing to watch people 
tear down what I say, and it is quite the mental exercise to come 
back with a response of my own.  For the record, I believe in 
capital punishment, in the war in Iraq, in the War on Terror, in 
our military, in the United States as a nation, and, at the same 
time, in the sanctity of life (when deserved), and in God.  I 
will end this here before I think of something else to ramble 
about, but know that while I may not agree with others' opinions 
I do listen to them and, if they can make a case that is well 
supported, I may even agree with them.
