Clear DayPlease distribute this message to all of your contacts who use Windows XP (most do by now):
Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) is now available for download.  You can get it through Microsoft Update (Start>All Programs>Microsoft Update) or you might get it through Automatic Updates.  This update is critical; it fixes about 1,176 bugs and security vulnerabilities present in Windows.  Some of these bugs are performance-related, some are security-related, and still others relate to Windows' interaction with various applications.  Expect this update to take a while to download and install (its typical download size is 66.9 MB).  It took over an hour to download and install it on my computer.  You will have to restart when the update process is complete.
