That is my impression as well. Of course having to pay hundreds
for a phone and special software instead of just walking in and
picking up a Track Phone is frustrating beyond belief at times
(and I have many more examples, as we all do) but I know why this
happens. It is just the same as new products costing more at
first, then, as more people by them, the price drops. In the
assistive tech market, though, more people will not be buying,
always a roughly equal number.
